We are pleased to welcome Marianna Stuhr to New & Abstract. Marianna (born 1982 in Poland) treats her work as looking for a balance between tradition and modernity, by combining contemporary expression and using classical artistic techniques, telling a personal, often intimate story. She lives and works in Kronberg, Germany.
Marianna Stuhr is a visual artist graduated from Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, and Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (PhD). Her work focuses on the concept of void and space in the picture, represented by what is visible and abstract, often referring to astrophysical phenomena as a pretext to reveal her own, unique way of perceiving our existence in the surrounding space.
