"In my series ‘Modern Fresco’ I combine 2 styles from different artistic epochs. In the style of abstract expressionism, I try to depict monumental scenes of the heavens and gods, reminding the viewer of classical ceiling frescoes from the Baroque period. I only hint at the actual scene, such as the bodies or faces, in order to confront the viewer with their own creativity."
