Claudia De La Hoz was born in Colombia in 1979. She came to France to complete her post-graduate studies in art history, interior design and textile design. Working in various spheres of these professions for over 15 years, including the creation of handcrafted textiles in collaboration with Colombian artisans. Now a visual artist since 2021, she devotes her time in her studio in Paris 14éme to painting and developing her artistic project with a collective she created in 2023.
Since when do you paint and what are your favourite motives?
I paint since 4 years, when the covid period began. I paint the nature, women, birds, overall trees.
When you create a new work, how do you proceed? What comes first?
It comes from my dreams, from intuition.
From what do you get your motivation?
I don t know, Is a mystery, I just execute what my mind says.

... empty
What is the best art place in your city at the moment?
I live in Paris, so, difficult to say, many districts have their own art places and art galleries, so we have amazing museums all over the city as you know.
