Sandra Ahrabian is characterized by an unconventional approach to a new reality - free of concept. Getting involved in the moment and the process of creation are in the foreground. Through the merging of form and color, structures are broken up and left to follow their own flow. In the process, disharmonies and mistakes are transformed into harmony and aesthetics. The blemish becomes beauty.
How did you get into art?
I have been painting all my life. My life without painting is no life. I cannot not paint. For me, my paintings are the only language to express myself that has deep meaning.
How would you describe your style? What makes your work special?
Completely free and intuitive but logical.
How do you go about developing your work?
I surrender to my dreams.
Who or what influences you?
Colors by Rothko and Cy Twombly.
Make us curious. What are you planning to do next?
I recently exhibited in Barcelona. At the moment I'm still in Munich with my Pop Up Art Gallery and exhibiting in Munich and I'm planning an exhibition in Hamburg in September.
