Rasmus Benjamin Nielsen is an artist based in Aarhus, Denmark. Graphics and graffiti characterize his style. He also finds artistic expression in installations and sculptures. How did you get into art?
Ever since I was a little kid I have been making drawing and being creative. I started drawing graffiti when I was 8 years old and did that for over 10 years. When I was a teenager I was dragged by webdesign and logo design, so I become more graphic and decided to educate as an art director. So since that I have worked with graphic designs for many years.
How would you describe your style? What makes your art special?
I don’t have just one style in my work of art. I think my head just tells me what to do next, and I like to work with different styles and creations. I would say my style is “visual” and that could be anything - paintings, installations, sculptures etc. I love the fact that my costumers are so different - some like one style and others an other style. How do you go about developing your work?
I always want to challenge myself and as said before I like to do different kind of styles and I like to work that way. I always gets new ideas - some great some bad. But that is the way creative people work. Who or what influences you?
I like new and modern art - something that looks great in a home. So I always have my mind on how my stuff could fit into homes with different interior and styles. I get very inspired of the way people decorate their homes. What are you planning to do next?
Just at the moment I am running a preorder on my new sculpture that I just designed. What is up next I am still planning - but you can always follow my Instagram for what’s up next.Instagram
