Marianna treats her work as looking for a balance between tradition and modernity, by combining contemporary expression and using classical artistic techniques (classic hand-printing techniques, painting on canvas), telling a personal, often intimate story. Her work focuses on the concept of void and space in the picture, represented by what is visible and abstract, often referring to astrophysical phenomena as a pretext to reveal her own, unique way of perceiving our existence in the surrounding space.
