Patrick Wenzel is an abstract artist and lives in Ebersberg, near Munich. His works originate from a well-thought-out concept, but he also allows intuitive work steps in the painting process and likes to improvise. Making art enables him to switch off from everyday life and concentrate on his inner self, he generates new strength from it. He finds inspiration for his colour palettes in the colourful diversity of nature. Patrick likes to paint on canvas and paper, and there are also works on wood from time to time. When he is sitting in his attic studio and the painting process begins, he transforms experiences and emotions into dynamic and mysterious-looking beings. The result of this exciting process is a final artwork that pulls us into a fabulous world. His powerful depictions stand for inspiration, self-confidence and strength.
