On the one hand Guenther Brandls work is characterized by his intensive involvement with art history as a teacher and in particular by artists such as Uecker, Tapies, Chillida, Miro, Klee, Pollock, Krasner and on the other hand by his many years of work with children whose social-emotional development is severely impaired, where conflicts, threats, injuries and loss of security were always an issue. Of course, global challenges such as climate change, abuse of power and wars do not remain without impact.
